Jarad Anthony Higgins, better known as artist Juice Wrld, was born on December 2, 1998, in Chicago, Illinois. Higgins' childhood was quite difficult because all custody of him and his older brother passed entirely to his mother after his parents divorced.

Carmela Wallace was quite a religious person back then, which is why she did not allow her sons to listen to specific genres of music. Among them was hip-hop because of its often aggressive lyrics. Of course, if a child is forbidden to do something, he will want to do it even more.

The boy's interest in music appeared very early. The first instrument that Higgins became interested in, thanks to his mother, was the piano. At the age of 4, he could play simple melodies, and his skills became better over time. Higgins had no desire to dwell on one instrument, so over time, he became interested in drums, trumpet, and guitar. His playing on these instruments has reached a decent level, which is why he even got into a class band.

At the same time, he, unfortunately, became interested in something else. Drugs. In the sixth grade, he started drinking lean and later switched to more serious substances. Of course, this later had a significant impact on his health, which caused many problems.

At the very beginning of high school, Higgins decided to turn his passion for music into something more. Inventing the name JuicetheKidd, he registered on the music platform SoundCloud and uploaded his first track called "Forever". Of course, at that time, Higgins didn't have the opportunity to buy good equipment for recording music and, therefore, simply recorded it on his phone. In 2017, he became much more serious about music and began to collaborate with various musicians and producers. One of them at that time was Nick Mira, who collaborated with Higgins for a long time and helped with such tracks as "Lucid Dreams", "Smile", "Bandit", and some others. It was during this period that he decided to change his name to Juice Wrld.

Higgins decided to go to a regular job to provide himself with at least some finances but realized that such a life is not for him. After that, he spent some time working on EP "9 9 9", thanks to which he became famous all over the world. The main reason for such a phenomenal success was the song "Lucid Dreams", the music video of which was released in 2018 and has already gained more than 725 million views on YouTube. After such success, many artists became interested in him, one of whom was Lil Bibby. Higgins joined his record label Grade A Production.

At the end of 2017, Juice Wrld released a new EP "Nothings Different". One of the songs in it was "All Girls Are the Same", which brought the artist the second wave of popularity. After his release, Higgins signed a contract with Interscope Records. It is worth noting that both songs, namely "Lucid Dreams" and "All Girls Are the Same", entered the top of various music charts worldwide.

His debut album, "Goodbye & Good Riddance", was released on May 23, 2018, and featured 15 tracks with a total runtime of 40 minutes. It includes some previous tracks such as the already familiar "Lucid Dreams", "All Girls Are the Same" and "Lean With Me". After a very short time, he released another EP "Too Soon .." which included only two songs. They were dedicated to two rappers, namely Lil Peep and XXXTentacion, who died young. He used part of his correspondence with XXXTentacion as a cover for the EP.

After that, Juice Wrld often appeared in collaborations with various artists, including Lil Uzi Vert, Travis Scott, Future, Seezyn, Ski Mask, and others. The second album, "Death Race for Love", was released on March 8, 2019, and contained 22 songs with a total duration of 1 hour 12 minutes. The most famous songs from this album were "Robbery" and "Hear Me Calling". After the release of this album, Juice Wrld managed to appear in several more collaborations. Among them were the song "All Night" with RM and Suga, "graduation" with American record producer and DJ Benny Blanco, "Hate Me" with English singer and songwriter Ellie Goulding, and "Bandit" rapper and singer NBA YoungBoy. This song was the last before Higgins' death.

On December 8, 2019, Higgins died from a seizure caused by high levels of codeine and oxycodone in the body. The funeral was held on January 22, 2020, in his hometown of Illinois. His relatives and friends, including Young Thug and Ski Mask, came to say goodbye to the artist.

On January 17, the song "Godzilla" by Eminem feat. Juice Wrld was released. This song became a real hit and even reached the first position in the UK Singles Chart. Subsequently, Higgins' family confirmed that they would support the release of the songs he was working on until his death. Of course, many of these songs were collaborations. Among such songs is the "Tell Me U Luv Me" feat. Tripple Redd, "Go" with the Kid Laroi, "Come & Go" feat. Marshmello and "Life's a Mess" feat. Halsey.

All these songs (except "Go") were included in Juice Wrld's third album, "Legends Never Die". It contained 22 songs with a total duration of 58 minutes 50 seconds. In 2020, Juice Wrld took 4th place among Most Streamed Artists on Spotify.

Although Juice Wrld is no longer with us, his songs will be heard everywhere for a long time, reminding everyone of his legacy.
